Your guide and theraputic support is by Amie Dreyer, a qualified counsellor and therapist with over 20 years’ professional experience across education, health, and community support settings.
Amie is the founder of The Chrysalis Girls Program, a long-running group counselling program supporting at-risk adolescent girls, delivered across 12 high schools in northern New South Wales. This work focused on trauma-informed group facilitation, emotional regulation, and early intervention within school environments.
Alongside this, Amie has worked in collaboration with government and statutory services, including the Department of Education, Department of Health, and Child Protection and Residential Care settings.
Her experience includes supporting individuals from disadvantaged and marginalised communities, including Indigenous contexts, within complex support environments.
Amie has extensive experience designing and delivering adventure therapy programs and nature-based group programs, with a strong emphasis on safety, regulation, and participant suitability. She also maintains a long-standing private practice, working from trauma-informed, holistic, and somatic frameworks within non-clinical settings.
In addition, Amie brings specialist experience in outdoor and nature-based education, including work as a wildlife guide and nature educator. Her background includes NSW licensing in reptile and snake handling and experience operating related nature-based education programs, supporting safe and informed engagement with natural environments
