Experience and Training

•Advanced Diploma of Holistic Counselling.

• Diploma in Holistic Counselling,  professionally accredited  with the Australian Counselling Association .

•Previous academic studies include; Group-work, Certificate IV in Welfare, studies in mental health, disabilities and sexuality, dramatic / visual arts, Chinese Medicine, meditation and Alternative Therapies, Anthroposophy & Buddhist psychology, artistic therapies and Art therapy.
 
•Ongoing experience with teenagers, developing group counselling programs such as The Chrysalis Girls Program and educational workshops.

•Black belt in Pancha Tanmantra (Kung Fu) at an instructors level in  2005 and continue to teach/train on a weekly basis.

•In 2009 I was offered  a  full  scholarship (see this link for further information) to study my Advanced Diploma of  Holistic Counselling. I was awarded the full scholarship due to the ongoing  voluntary work I have been committed to  and involved in with young people particularly teenage girls at risk,(i.e young women aged between 12 and 18  who are experiencing homelessness, drug and alcohol abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence,  suicide and grief and loss.)
